Prepublication of new forms

Under the Politique gouvernementale sur l’allègement réglementaire et administratif⁠ ⁠ (government policy on regulatory and administrative streamlining, available in French only), government departments and agencies are required to publish all new forms for businesses on their website. The new forms must be available for 30 days in order to obtain comments from business representatives.

The goal of this measure is to allow the affected businesses to review the new forms before they are officially published to ensure that they are as easy to complete as possible. 

Processing comments

• Comments must come from businesses or associations representing business sectors. Personal opinions are not taken into consideration.
• All comments received from businesses or groups representing them will be analyzed, but not made public.
