Commitment to Regulatory and Administrative Streamlining

Under the Politique gouvernementale⁠ ⁠ sur l’allègement réglementaire et administrative (government policy on regulatory and administrative streamlining, available in French only), every three years, government departments and agencies are required to publish their commitments toward smart regulation, regulatory and administrative streamlining and review mechanisms for rules that affect businesses.

In order to uphold this policy, the SAAQ undertakes to:

• publish all new forms for businesses for a 30-day period before they are formally implemented in order to obtain comments from industry stakeholders
• publish its regulatory impact assessments
• present results achieved in its annual report
• continue simplifying services for businesses by constantly improving its online service delivery
• monitor regulatory and administrative procedures that impact businesses
