You have a maximum of 3 years as of the date of the accident, the onset of injury or the death of an accident victim to file a compensation claim with the SAAQ.
Thanks to the public automobile insurance plan, all Quebecers are covered for injuries sustained in a traffic accident, anywhere in the world, regardless of whether they are responsible for the accident.
