Application to have a conduct record adjusted
Heavy vehicle drivers may apply to have an event in their conduct record withdrawn or amended, provided certain conditions are met.
Events you are involved in while at the wheel of a heavy vehicle impact your conduct review
Under the Conduct Review Policy for Heavy Vehicle Drivers, (PDF, 3.1 MB) any events that occur in a Canadian jurisdiction while you are at the wheel of a heavy vehicle registered in Québec are taken into consideration when reviewing and assessing your conduct. These events are entered in your heavy vehicle driver conduct record as soon as we are informed of them.
Please note that it is your responsibility to check your conduct record on a regular basis to stay abreast of any events that may have been entered, and to have any adjustments made, if need be.
How to apply to have your record adjusted
If you wish to apply to have a correction made to an event that has been entered in your record, you must provide the SAAQ with the required information or proof in support of your application and use the form referred to below. You will receive confirmation of any adjustments made in a letter, along with a copy of your revised conduct record.
Page 16 and Section 8 of the Conduct Review Policy for Heavy Vehicle Drivers (PDF, 3.1 MB) provide additional information on the conditions that must be met.
