Automobile and Home Adaptation

Québec's public automobile insurance plan provides for the reimbursement of certain expenses incurred to adapt your home or automobile in connection with a physical disability stemming from a traffic accident.

• Home adaptation

  Certain costs can be reimbursed if your disability is a result of a traffic accident and prevents you from gaining access to or using your home. Before undertaking any adaptation projects, contact us. We are there to help you.

• Obtaining an Accessible Parking Permit

  Disabled persons may obtain a disabled parking permit to help them get around more easily. This permit is given to anyone who qualifies, whether the person is a driver or a passenger.

• Purchasing or adapting a vehicle for a Person With a Mobility Impairment

  If you have a physical disability that prevents you from driving or using your vehicle, we may reimburse certain expenses incurred to adapt your vehicle or purchase an adapted vehicle. Before undertaking any projects, however, contact us. We are there to help you.
