Theme and Target Groups

«Did you see me?» poster from the 2017 school bus transportation safety campaignThe SAAQ has joined forces with the Bus Carriers Federation to launch the 29th edition of the school transportation safety campaign from January 30 to February 10, 2017, with the theme “Did you see me?”

The campaign targets two groups:

  • road users;
  • children between the ages of 5 and 12.

The slogan “Did you see me?” seeks to remind:

  • road users of the importance of obeying road signs and traffic signals and watching out for school buses, which make many stops along their route
  • school children that they must make sure the driver sees them at all times, especially when crossing the road and getting on or off a school bus

Material and Strategies

All preschool and Grade 1, 2, and 3 teachers will receive an activity sheet, a poster for the classroom and the new edition of the fourth book in the Bubusse series, entitled Sam and Bloop at Field Day.

The mastuvu.info microsite (French only), an information and activity sheet, posters, and TV, radio, web and social media ads will also be used to promote the campaign.
