2015 Cell Phone and Texting Campaign

“Be Strong and Resist. Don't Text and Drive.”

Cell phones are now a ubiquitous part of our everyday lives. Whether for personal or professional use, mobile communications are unavoidable for the vast majority of the population. However, this dependence on technology poses important risks to road safety.

The SAAQ's 2015 campaign – “Be Strong and Resist. Don't Text and Drive.” – aims to make all Québec drivers aware of the hazards and consequences of texting at the wheel.

Although 99% of Quebecers acknowledge the hazards of texting at the wheel, a large proportion of drivers cannot resist doing so.
