2025 Impaired Driving ‒ Squad
The SAAQ’s impaired driving awareness squad is touring festivals across Québec this summer. The squad is hosting a karaoke where participants select a song from a list of popular Québécois tunes and sing modified lyrics that incorporate our campaign messages. This awareness activity aims to remind drivers that driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is dangerous and that there are alternatives to getting behind the wheel to get home safely.

- Festival d’été de Québec in Québec City: July 10 to 13, 2025
- Festival international des rythmes du monde in Chicoutimi: July 18 and 19, 2025
- Les Grandes Fêtes Telus in Rimouski: August 2 and 3, 2025
- Poutine festival in Drummondville: August 7 to 9, 2025
- International Hot-Air Balloon Festival in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu: August 14 to 17, 2025
- Hot-air balloon festival in Gatineau: August 30 and 31, 2025
To give more festival goers the opportunity to sing along, a big-screen version of the karaoke will be featured at some of the festivals.
