2018 Pedestrian Safety Campaign
“The damage can’t be compared”
This campaign, entitled “The Damage Can’t Be Compared,” reminds both drivers and pedestrians that, in a collision, the damage to a vehicle simply can’t compare to the injuries sustained by a pedestrian.
The ads and online clips aim to demonstrate that pedestrian safety is a responsibility shared by both drivers and pedestrians:
- Pedestrians are vulnerable, and must therefore watch out for their own safety
- Drivers must be prudent around pedestrians, because they are vulnerable
