2017 Speeding Campaign

"The Effects of Speeding"

In 2017, the SAAQ launches a travelling virtual reality campaign to make drivers aware of the risks of speeding. 

The SAAQ’s 2017 campaign "The Effects of Speeding" uses an immersive experience to demonstrate the physical effects of speeding, including braking distance and the force of impact.

The laws of physics apply to everyone, even to an excellent driver in a high-performance vehicle. The faster you drive, the greater the risk of an accident and the more severe that accident is likely to be.

Calendar of events

On-site campaign activities will take place during the summer of 2017 in several Québec regions. The SAAQ will participate in the following events:
