Pigeon
A young man under the under the influence of drugs has a conversation with a pigeon about the fact that all drugs can be detected.
For the third year in a row, the SAAQ ran an awareness campaign about drugs and driving. With the help of a pigeon and a squirrel, the campaign reminded the public that police officers can recognize drivers who are “high.”
The campaign mainly targeted drivers aged 16 to 24.
Unlike with drinking and driving, police officers do not use a device to detect the presence of drugs. Rather, they have drivers go through a series of roadside tests to determine their ability to drive. More extensive tests can also be carried out at the police station, if need be.
