The scene shows the red hand of a pedestrian signal in an operating room, then a physical rehabilitation room, then a cemetery. The commercial then depicts a man waiting for the pedestrian light to display before crossing an intersection.
2014 Pedestrians Campaign
“Pedestrians aren't protected like cars, and have no chance against one”
The 2014 campaign – “Pedestrians aren't protected like cars, and have no chance against one” – aimed to improve the safety of pedestrians at intersections.
If pedestrians must follow the rules about crossing at intersections, drivers must also be vigilant and courteous.
In 2013, 55% of pedestrians involved in an accident were injured or killed at an intersection.

Contre une auto, un piéton n’a aucune chance
Pedestrians aren’t protected like cars, and have no chance against one
Publicity stunt
In order to make drivers more aware of how vulnerable pedestrians are, a coffin displaying the message “Contre un véhicule, un piéton n'a aucune chance. Faites attention” (A pedestrian has no chance against a car. Be careful) was paraded across busy intersections in Québec and Montréal.
