Following the success of the first two phases of the pilot project regarding service delivery during the low season, the SAAQ is moving forward with the third phase, which will take place from October 20, 2025 to March 27, 2026. The Sorel-Tracy and Donnacona service centres will join the 20 service centres currently participating.

The service centres in these municipalities will operate with modified schedules until March 27, 2026. Ten of these centres (marked with an asterisk) will now offer their services by appointment only. Clients are invited to plan their trips by consulting the new schedule and making an appointment online. They can also use our online services to carry out their operations at any time, without having to go out.
We wish to remind you that this pilot project aims to increase traffic in service centres during opening hours in the low season, and allow SAAQ employees to assist their colleagues with other services with higher demand. During Phase 2, these adjustments allowed SAAQ employees to serve 87,000 additional clients while maintaining the quality of services offered in person.
This approach allows the SAAQ to improve its service delivery, continue offering services throughout the province and consolidate regional jobs.
