Appointment to Have Driving Experience Acquired Outside Québec Recognized

When you take up residence in Québec and hold a valid driver's licence issued outside Québec, you are allowed to drive on Québec roads for six months. Once those first six months have passed, you will be required to hold a Québec licence.

To apply for a Québec licence, you must be a You are considered a resident of Québec if your principal residence is in Québec. Your principal residence is the place where you ordinarily reside.     Do you need to hold a Québec driver’s licence in order to drive your employer’s vehicle?
