Young Drivers – “Avoidable Collision” Awareness Caravan

The “Avoidable Collision” tour started on September 16, 2026. For the next six weeks, the awareness caravan will be visiting some twenty schools across Québec to raise awareness among Secondary IV and V students about various road safety issues.

The caravan features two different escape room games that give young drivers an immersive experience. Teams of players need to solve a series of puzzles to discover the causes of a collision and go back in time to prevent it from happening.

This attention-grabbing and memorable experience uses a playful, interactive and participatory approach to bring home to young drivers how avoidable collisions can be. The activities address risk factors associated with traffic accidents, such as not wearing a seat belt, distractions, fatigue, speeding and alcohol or drug use.

By actively engaging students to think about the consequences of their choices, the “Avoidable Collision” tour aims to encourage them to adopt safe behaviours and contribute to accident prevention.
