The SAAQ offers a variety of publications to raise awareness of cycling safety and road sharing.

Practical advice to make bicycle riding safe and enjoyable: items to check before setting out, Highway Safety Code requirements, sharing the road, road signs and traffic signals, helmet use.

This guide contains safe practices and tips from specialists on organizing short bike rides (one day or less). It is a handy guide for people who work with children aged 10 to 14. It lists the basic steps in planning a bike ride, preparations with regard to equipment, roadside repairs, food and regulations to ensure a safe ride (in French only).

Heavy Vehicle Blind Spots - Be vigilant! (PDF, 2.2 MB)
Around any vehicle, certain areas cannot be seen by the driver in the mirrors or through the windows. These are called blind spots.
