Replacing a Disabled Parking Permit

In the event a disabled parking permit or accompanying certificate is lost, damaged or stolen, it is important that you request a replacement from the SAAQ.

What you have to do

In the event a disabled parking permit or accompanying certificate is lost, damaged or stolen, you must send us a letter indicating:

  • what document needs to be replaced (permit, certificate or both)
  • the reason you require a replacement (lost, stolen, damaged)
  • the file number we have given you, if available
  • the permit number, which also appears on the certificate, if available
  • your first and last name
  • your date of birth
  • your address and a telephone number where you can be reached during the day
  • a cheque or money order made payable to the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec for the cost of replacement of the permit or certificate

Fees

  • Replacement of the permit, including the accompanying certificate: $18.60
  • Replacement of the accompanying certificate alone: $5.05
