Renewing an Accessible Parking Permit

Here is the procedure to renew an accessible parking permit.

Permanent permit validity period and renewal

An accessible parking permit issued to an individual with a permanent disability is valid for five years. Stickers on the permit indicate the year and month of expiry.

We send a renewal notice a month before the permit expires.

Temporary permit validity period and how to reapply

An accessible parking permit issued to an individual with a temporary disability cannot be renewed.

Once the permit has expired, if your situation still requires you to use an accessible parking permit, you must file a new application.

Consult the Obtaining an Accessible Parking Permit section of our website to learn more about the procedure.
