Tabling of the 2025 annual report

The SAAQ's 2025 annual report (PDF, 3.3 MB) (available in French only) has been tabled in the National Assembly of Québec by Deputy Premier and Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility Benoit Charette.

Here are some highlights:

  • 8 fewer fatalities compared with 2024, declining from 379 to 371
  • Nearly $462 million in surplus capital for 2026 to be remitted to Quebecers 
  • Opening of 3 modernized service centres with special road safety awareness zones
  • Implementation of mandatory entry-level training for heavy vehicle drivers 
  • More than 5 million clients served in person at SAAQ service outlets; more than 2 million served by phone, email or chat; and more than 4 million via the SAAQ’s online services
  • Creation of 2.3 million SAAQclic accounts
  • Client and partner satisfaction ratings: 
  • 8.7/10 among clients who used SAAQclic for a vehicle storage operation 
  • 8.6/10 among clients with special circumstances
  • 8.1/10 among clients served in person
  • 7.8/10 among partners
