For more information, refer to the Road Vehicle Mechanical Inspection Guide (PDF, 7.9 Mo).

What does the mechanic do?

The mechanic carries out a visual inspection of the main vehicle components listed above.

The mechanic provides you with a mechanical inspection report that notes any defects (minor and major) and informs you of the results of the inspection.

To find out the overall mechanical condition of your vehicle, we highly recommend that you submit it to a mechanical inspection by your mechanic as well.
