Requesting a Copy of a Driving Record
You can request a copy of your driving record using our online services.
Your driving record contains information about:
- the status of your driver's licence
- active demerit points on your record
- offences committed
- conditions under which you are authorized to drive
- licence class or classes
- your driving experience
- medical decisions that concern you (if applicable)
- events related to driving a heavy vehicle (short form). If events are entered in your record, you can find more information in the Monitoring of Heavy Vehicle Driver Conduct document
You will receive, free of charge, your driving record by mail at the address recorded in your file.
Before you start
Have your driver's licence on hand.
Anyone who holds a driver's licence.
Other clients
This online service is not intended for individuals who have not notified the SAAQ of a change of address. They must contact us by telephone.
Individuals residing or temporarily staying outside Québec must use the Application for the Driver's Abstract of a Person Residing or Temporarily Living Outside Québec (PDF, 127.0 KB) form.
