How to obtain an amateur radio operator licence plate

Requesting a plate from Radio Amateur du Québec

If you hold an Amateur Radio Operator Certificate, you can apply for a licence plate with Radio Amateur du Québec, which will mail it to you.

Going to an SAAQ service outlet

Once you have received your licence plate, you must go to one of our service outlets and present:

• your driver's licence or another official photo ID document
• the original or a copy of your Amateur Radio Operator Certificate issued by Industry Canada
• the new licence plate
