Vehicle Towing and Impoundment Fees

A vehicle that is seized is towed and impounded at the owner's expense. Here are the towing and impoundment fees charged when your vehicle is seized.

Useful information

The owner of an impounded vehicle must also pay the fees for managing its disposal, should he or she choose not to claim it. For information regarding these fees, see the table “Disposal of an unclaimed impounded vehicle” on the Fees for other services page.

Fees in exclusive towing areas

Maximum fees payable to tow a road vehicle seized on the sections of public roads covered by the Regulation respecting the provision of road service or towing on certain roads and autoroutes and on certain bridges or other infrastructures (M.O. 987-88).
