2018 Fatigue Campaign

“Drive Well Rested!”

The goal of the 2018 campaign is to remind drivers of the importance of planning their trips and being well rested when they get behind the wheel, while at the same time emphasizing the fact that tricks to fight fatigue don’t really work.

This French-language animated GIF, posted at a time when many Québec residents are planning their summer vacations, emphasizes the importance of planning road trips in advance and getting a good night’s sleep before leaving.

These animated GIFs aim to remind drivers that drinking coffee, rolling down a window or turning up the radio are not lasting and effective solutions. When drivers begin to notice signs of fatigue, the only really safe solution is to stop and rest.

For a fourth consecutive year, French-language billboards with the message “Mort de fatigue” (dead tired) will be placed along Québec roads and highways from May to November to remind drivers to stop when they become tired.
