2015 Fatigue Campaign

“Stop before fatigue stops you.”

Fatigue at the wheel is one of the leading causes of accidents on Québec roads, along with speeding, alcohol and distraction.

The SAAQ's 2015 campaign – “Stop before fatigue stops you” – aimed to make all Québec drivers aware of the dangers and consequences of driving while tired.

Useful information

Fatigue was related to 20% of fatal accidents and 23% of all accidents with bodily injury that occurred between 2010 and 2014 in Québec. The only way to stop fatigue is to pull over to rest or to take a nap.
