Obeying the Highway Safety Code means respecting others. This was the theme of the SAAQ's 2010 courtesy and sharing the road campaign.
The ads for the 2010 campaign – “Courtesy begins by obeying the Highway Safety Code” –highlighted ways to safely share the road with others.
From September 20 to 26, 2010, we participated in Courtesy Week in partnership with the Sûreté du Québec, the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal, the Association des directeurs de police du Québec, Corus Québec and Contrôle routier Québec.
According to a Leger Marketing survey conducted in Québec in 2009, 78% of respondents said that lack of courtesy made them feel less safe on the road.
