The SAAQ has designed a mobile road safety unit that is currently travelling across Québec to promote road safety among road users.
This unique vehicle highlights multiple aspects of road safety and features fun, informative activities. The mobile unit’s interior has been fully equipped to receive visitors, who will be able to try out a virtual reality experience or play games on an interactive television. Special activities for heavy vehicle drivers are also offered, including an information session on air brakes. Demonstrations of the dangers associated with blind spots are provided outside the vehicle.
The mobile road safety unit will be used by carrier enforcement officers and regional road safety advisors during the following types of activities and events:
