What to do in the event of identity theft

Step 1 – File a complaint with your local police department

Step 2 – Check your driving record

Step 3 – If the identity theft has had an impact on your driving record, send us:

  • a copy of the incident report filled out and signed by the police officer who recorded the complaint, or the incident number
  • a copy of the documents submitted along with the complaint
