New Educational Videos on the Basics of Driving in Québec

The SAAQ is sharing new educational videos on basic driving rules that highlight and explain key aspects of driving in Québec. These tools are designed not only for newcomers to Québec and others who are learning to drive, but also experienced drivers looking to refresh their skills.

The videos can help learners properly prepare for the SAAQ’s knowledge and road tests. However, these videos do not teach everything about driving in Québec and are not a substitute for the content taught at accredited driving schools. They are interactive tools that complement the other tools and services available on the SAAQ’s website.

These new learning tools cover various subjects, including preparing your vehicle before heading out, blind spots, intersections and the right-of-way. Each video is available in an interactive version (including quizzes and questions) and a non-interactive version. Both versions include a self-evaluation.

The first six videos can be viewed now. Stay tuned, because other videos will become available by the end of 2026.
