Rotating Strike at Canada Post: Greater Montréal Affected

Today, October 30, 2018, the Greater Montréal area will be affected by the rotating strike at Canada Post.

The affected municipalities are: Montréal, Laval, Brossard, Terrebonne, Mascouche, Saint-Eustache, Châteauguay, La Prairie, Beauharnois, Saint-Bruno, Beloeil, Chambly, Boucherville, Varennes, Repentigny, Saint-Constant, Sainte-Catherine, Delson, Oka and Sainte-Julie.

This strike consists of mail delivery interruptions that last 24 to 48 consecutive hours, affecting mail service in alternating Canadian municipalities. To find out which municipalities are affected each day, refer to the Canada Post website.

Although accident victims’ compensation cheques and documents related to operations will be sent as usual, this temporary strike may result in slower mail distribution for part of Québec.
